Memories, like wisps. So many years, so many days, so many thoughts, so much time. Memories are like a song that help us heal all the bad times. When we think of some wonderful memories of times spent with our loved ones it helps us travel back in time and relive and cherish those moments.
We spend time with a lot of people, but our fondest memories are reserved for our dearest ones. Blogadda and HDFC have given me the opportunity to relive and share all the wonderful memories that I have with my dear ones.
In one of the previous post I wrote about some wonderful memories I have spent with my sister.
In this post I would like to share some wonderful memories I have spent with my soul mate and my best friend.
You can also check the scrapbook I have prepared filled with memories with my best friend. Click on the link below:-
The first memory is of the time we went to watch a movie with our friends. We were making plans to meet up after a long long time. Everything was finalised and ready. But on the day of the movie one person remembered that he had some other commitments. And then it began. Slowly one by one everyone started backing out. At the end it was just four of us left. We yet decided to go ahead and watch the movie. We watched ABCD 2. After the movie we went for a wonderful lunch at Jim-me’s Kitchen in Bandra. We had a wonderful time.
There have been many previous posts where I have shared many more memories that we have spent together. All I want to say to you is Thank you. If in case God has other plans for me, remember I would like to thank you for everything you have done for me.
Thank you for being there for me when I call you and need someone to just listen. It doesn’t matter where we are in this world or in our lives; I know you will always pick up. Thank you for always being my best supporter. Thank you for not judging me for my sometimes poor decision-making skills.
Thank you for late-night conversations. Thank you for remembering every inside joke we have ever created. Thank you for the long drives and plane rides you have taken just to spend time with me. Thank you for being brutally honest with me when I am being outrageous.
Thank you for respecting my values and opinions, even if you disagree. Thank you for bringing me into your family. Thank you for being brave enough to let me in and be vulnerable to me.
Thank you for fighting all of life’s battles by my side. Thank you for celebrating all of the exciting moments of my life with me. Thank you for forgiving me for every time I haven’t been the best friend in the entire world.
Thank you for all that you’ve taught me. Thank you for always making me feel like the crazy stories of my day are important. Thank you for every gushy text you send me to encourage me when life is really crappy.
Thank you for the moments of silence we share together, where words don’t need to be said, but we know we are in it together. Thank you for defending me. Thank you for reminding me to stay true to myself. Thank you for listening to my long stories as though you haven’t already heard them a million times.
Thank you for always making time for me, no matter how far away you are. Thank you for being strong when I am weak. Thank you for your sharing your secrets with me. Thank you for sharing your life with me.
